Privacy Policy

Closeday, a product of Vallos LLC · Last updated July 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Vallos LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our services — including Closeday, the proposal software at closeday.co, and text (SMS) messages sent on the business owner’s behalf.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as your name, email address, mobile phone number, business details, and the contents of your communications with us. When you use Closeday, we also collect the content you create or upload to your workspace — including call recordings and transcripts you record or paste, your pricing and brand assets, and the proposals you generate — plus basic usage and device information needed to operate the service. We collect this information when you share it with us — for example, when you create an account, use the product, or give us your phone number and agree to be contacted.

How we use your information

We use your information to provide the service: to transcribe the recordings you upload, to generate the proposal drafts you request (processed by our transcription and AI service providers under confidentiality obligations — we do not use your content to train AI models), to deliver proposals to the clients you send them to, to record acceptances and signatures, to process payments, to communicate with you, and to respond to your requests. Messages are one-to-one and conversational, sent by the business owner or an assistant acting on the owner’s behalf.

SMS / text messaging

By providing your mobile number and consenting to be contacted, you agree to receive text messages from Vallos LLC related to your communications and requests. Each message identifies who it is from.

  • Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us; messages are conversational and sent as needed.
  • Message and data rates: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
  • Opt out: You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you reply STOP, you will receive a confirmation and we will not send you further text messages.
  • Help: Reply HELP to any message for assistance.

How we share your information

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your SMS/text messaging consent with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is used solely to provide the communications and services described in this policy. We share information with service providers only as necessary to operate our services and only under obligations of confidentiality — for example, our messaging provider (to deliver text messages), our payment processor Stripe (to process payments; we do not store full card numbers), our transcription and AI providers (to transcribe your recordings and generate the documents you request), our email provider (to deliver proposal and account emails), and our cloud infrastructure providers (to host the service). We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as needed to provide our services and to comply with our legal obligations. Records of accepted proposals are retained so both you and your client keep a copy of what was agreed. You may request that we delete your information by contacting us using the details below.

Your choices

You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. You may also contact us to update or delete the information we hold about you.

California privacy rights

Vallos LLC is based in California and serves customers across the United States. If you are a California resident, California law — including the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) and, where applicable, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA — gives you rights over your personal information:

  • Right to know what personal information we collect about you and how we use and disclose it.
  • Right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months.
  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@vallos.co. We will verify your request and respond as required by law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because there is no common industry standard for how to respond to DNT signals, we do not currently respond to them. We do not track our users across third-party websites to serve targeted advertising.

Governing law

This Privacy Policy and our handling of your information are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where a non-waivable law of your own state of residence applies.
